TWENTYNINTH DECEMBER 2007

The planning for this party, believe it or not, began way back in June, when the Bee and I got excited over combining our sixteenth birthday party! Most of our guests were to be class people ( well, excluding dode initially due to the lack of space. ahahaha:)

So I arrived at Costa Sands Resort Sentosa at bout 11 ish and was hurried away to change for the pool/beach by the Rah, the Bee and the Din. The pool was in the shape of a BEAN! Coolness. We hung out for a long time in the really hot sun, then headed OUT for subway and icecream! And. Then. HORROR. It began to POUR. We became moody and angerish. Moved back to our little room at bout 4 to get the food done and CHANGE. We were very under prepared food-wise! Thus. The sausages were boiled in the KETTLE! Shh. Don't tell. The potatoes failed and pizza took forever to come ( apparently!) haha. We got dressed ( which took a while due to the hassle of false lashes ) and got the decor going ( which was flippin awesome). Thank god the people came late! The Pao came, pao's boyfriend came, followed by the Dode, Jesse and the band girls. SO. the party began. The Bi and I flipped out the homemade twister set, ( which was failure due to the mysterious mystery of still wet paint ). So this was how it went.

The Bi: " Chris! Left boob on Yellow!"

Was pretty darn funny. Although we screwed the floor. aha. So the music was goin good, the party was FABULOUS and the presents were BEYOND awesome! Thank yall again and again for making that one wonderful night. Minus the orange candy. And chocolate. And ORANGES. ahaha:) Then there was just dancing and more dancing; with the new craze of crank that solJA boy, courtesy of Abee, din , rah and buu! We made a huge flippin mess that night and played a round of truth or truth before gradually drifting away to sleep with the constant tugs of rah and dode, who did not enjoy the comfort of sleeping in the middle which ensured me total coverage with the blanket at all times:) Well, I 've talked enough so... The morning after was icky... everyone didn't get enough sleep and we had to clean the HUGE mess we made! haha... Took forever to transport our stuff down then headed to do some racing before we left the island. Cool cool stuff. Was fantastic.

DECEMBER 31st!

Countdown to new YEAH! Prata Dinner with a horror flick thrown in was spent with Angie over at my place. Then, I made a last minute decision to go to Rae's countdown/ sleepover thing which THANK goodness I went to if not regret it for the rest of my days to come ( according to abee, and I quote she " saved me from myself!") Too funny. There was a whole Johnny Depp marathon goin, which was way too awesome, and the midnight shot, followed by MORE Depp, and the unfortunate incident whereby Abee FELL off the bed ONTO me when the Depp happened to look better than usual on Benny and Joon. Or Edward Scissorhands. Or somethin like that. Haha. AND! my new found annoyance for the air bed thing. oh.

CLASS PARTY!

Although it wasn't the whole class, the usual cliques turned up; US, the Jocks and the band girls. Nicolette from primary school showed up too, followed by Natasha Green , Audrey lange and Nicole. Was a cool get together, ( although the barbecue moved slowly due to us inexperienced barbequers). The beach rocked, All of us just chat, shunned the dod when she talked about school, became kids and played with sparklers, and had a round of truth o dare as usual. Dode had to pole dance with foreign onlookers watching and Jesse had to do a bollywood dance with a tree! ahaha.... too funny.

So my folks decided that we should go for a short trip. Thus Angie came along and we headed OUT for SUN, BEACH and... BEACH.

Was way awesome. Half of the time was spent on the extremely beautiful beach, and the cool thing was, while it was POURING back in Singapore, it was SCORCHING in Bintan! Came back with a bad tan and a backful of sunburns. haha. The minute we got there, Angie and I raced to the beach without consent, thus getting ticked off by my folks. oh. BUT! the hotel was cool, putting aside the fact that I was somehow able to flood the bathroom everytime I showered. haha. The sand was HEAVENLY soft.

Did I mention there were so many good looking dudes out there?

So dinner was at this resort/ alfresco kind of dining place where the food was wicked good and the sea breeze was fantastic. so since it was still early after we ate, the four of us headed to the Silk bar for drinks. It was pretty cool, with the band playing and stuff. Headed back at bout 11ish Bintan time and chilled in the hotel room.

The next morning was cool. Breakfast was great and the sun was up again! So the beach was, once again, the first stop. There was an incredible amount of fish swimming up to shore! Thus Angie and I created this pond thing in attempt to catch em. Didn't really work out. haha. THEN. We went surfing! Was way TOO cool. The waves were mighty high and i swallowed a gallon of sea water. Okay so while I was doin my thing, I looked over to my right, and saw this REALLY cute guy on vacation SMILING at me! In attempt to look cool with the board, i smiled back... then fell off the board. D-ARN. I'm no better than Abee now. hahaha.

That evening, all four of us went on th ATV dirt trail thing where you drive this vehicle that was mighty hard to steer, up the hills by the beach. It. Was. Awesome. Although we ran into a couple of tight spots that was smack hard to get out of. By dinner, Angie and I were ACHING like no hell. Had a huge dinner, then headed back to catch Grey's anatomy. But I ended up falling asleep! oh. So since our plans to wake up at 5am to watch sunrise the previous day had failed, we got up EARLEE the next morning to spend our last day by the beach. Sunrise was breathtaking. The sun was ORANGE and rising form the mountain side! oh. Then it was time for breakfast and a trip to this really cool pool with awesome slide things on the other side of the resort. Super. Packing our stuff took quick; then headed to the cafe for lunch and cam whoring. haha.

Got back to Singapore in the evening and crashed.
