Two words to sum up this week. EMOTIONALLY DRAINING.

All that rubbish that's been happening the past few days and SHE who talks and talks and pisses the hell out of me... the pressure piling on as that fateful day draws nearer, ENDLESS issues in school, look-i'm-sorry-ican't-do-a-good-job and I don't know what the hell am I doing. I think I've gone mad. And YOU should stop trying so hard," oh ho I don't have a *@#$*&%%!"

I think I'm allergic to bullSHIT so flippin spare me. Kindly excuse my inability to phrase my words in a construstive manner.

Putting those ramblings of an aging lady aside, today was not THAT bad. Lathargy kicked in though and of course this was'nt the frist time of the week. MONDAY: Sonia made miracles happen when she walked into the door twice while attempting to shift herself to the restroom to remove any trace of drowsiness during literature lessons. After that round of laughter produced by fellow friends including the teacher, she made yet another spectacular entrance by tripping over a string and into a heap of chairs; the string somehow managed to outsmart her) , much to the amusement of the same classmates and teacher once more. This was not the end. She got caught falling asleep with her head up, much to the amazement of all those around her who had experienced this phenomenon. Go ahead, your turn to laugh! aha. :)

So I glance at my tagboard and it pretty much looks like I'm compelled to reply them.

Christel: Thanks heaps:) Miss you too! Fret not, there will come a time when grp 5 shall resurface once more. Aha.

Passerby: Your comebacks are extremely well thought of and VERY familiar:) I am grateful!

Anon: SACSS- School for the Awesomely Clever and Special Students:) I appreciate if you will tell me who you are.

Xiaoqi: I SAW you! oh and I need to tell you about the toliet-paper tale:) you wil find out.

Shirley: tagged you! hopefully I will see you soon dear

anon: I really appreciate your er.. public display of affection for me but you know, I've had TOO many one night stands that I really can't remember who you are:) I think you were the.. second? No. Fifth maybe? Give it up hon.

Twas a fairly odd day. First, there was morning runs and chem followed by cme, by which we spent our time watching some form of propaganda video clip which was so incredibly hilarious and bad that I had to look away. Ha! it was also a day for bad hair and thus I realize that my hair is getting really long and out of my control. Just another random fact of my life.

Finals of B div debate preliminary rounds tomorrow evening- in the midst of contemplating whether I should go or not. Bi can't anymore, she's got drama. DARN. Will think about it. Talking about school related issues, that horrifying memory has struck me again.

I seriously SCREWED my Chinese orals yesterday. It was so bad I can't even talk about it. But I will anyway.

First I saw the passage and realized I couldn't read a quarter of the words there ( which my band 1 acquaintances actually found easy- just so you know, I'm in band 3.) and to top it all off like the icing on a cake, I flat out DID NOT understand the conversation topic at ALL and was compelled to stare blankly at the wall while trying to look intelligently inclined in Chinese at the same time. Go ahead, LAUGH.

HA!

It was funny actually, I had to ask her to jie shi for me and get this: throughout the whole oral, china teacher did'nt even LOOK at me. Maybe she thought my chinese speaking skills were too good. Beats last year though. I could'nt say plastic bag in china so I said...

" bu yao yong... plastic bag. ying gai dai zhi zi de...shopping.. oh er... gou wu dai."

and I actually got a 14 out of 20. Amazing. ( time to applause)

So back to today's events. A extremely amusing and laughable thing happened: this fellow acquaintance of mine who really had nothing to do but to take part in this online competition thing got the most number of votes and... she won. Won what?

A ROMAN GUY.

The prize is that this dude from overseas will fly over and spend two days with you.

Bloody hell.

He even came INTO our school to look for her.

What the hell kind of competition was that?

Sometimes, I really queation my sad existance in this twisted world.

Solitude: the state of being alone, especially when this is peaceful and pleasant.

NOT.

It'll be just as quiet when I leave,...

TGIF. Well not really though cos it thus signals the end of the supposed March holidays where we're meant to " unwind " and all that jazz. I was doing a lot of thinking while waiting for the bus today and have come to the conclusion that my social life has come to an inevitable halt since this year began and I thus declare it non-existant from this day onwards.

It's kinda really funny actually. Nobody has time to let their hair down and go crazy anymore. We have all come to accept that and so have I.

That's just great.

On a more positive note, I will be metal mouth no more in 8 weeks! It's pretty damn awesome cos I've had braces on for two and 1/4 years now so 8 weeks of waiting should'nt be much of a problem I suppose. Ha! Oh the joy.

Um uh... have fun with your life.

Oh yes, there will be blood but..

Its funny how this holiday is coming to an end so quickley and in this course of time, everyone is becoming over agitated and over frustrated, you name it. Why?

SYF. short for singapore youth festival. Its even funnier how we are focusing all our attention on something that was created by the human brain. So we train and wail and bawl all for like a couple of minutes on stage that will determine whether we are Gold-worthy or not. Anything below that and there will be more wailing and MORE sobbing over...

what?

And two years later, the exact same events repeat itself once more. Strange how we hold this competition in such high regard. It acts like a catalyst, causing schools across the island to regard each other as " arch enemies" , a more professional ways to say " I hate you" as so it seems. And yet again, arch enemies is a term coined by the human brain as well. Then there are the judges. Sure, they are self aclaimed professionals, extremely experienced, equipped with years of training in gosh knows what, who position themeselves in the spectator stands to determine our fate. In what way are they worthy enough to judge us?

No way they are worthy enough to judge us.

No way.

If only I had a little humility,I'D BE PERFECT.

Chinese mid years tomorrow. That might be a problem.

Those who have command of language in which event and concrete perception jump into palable metaphor, and images from the daily world act like spiritual agents, indeed have that unquestioned talent and ability.

Saturday! But it feels very weekday-ish. First of all, had to go to school then head immediately to tuition. Xiao Qi and I had a very humorous conversation on whether we should do our tuition hw cos she was going for lessons as well but I will not go in detail for I may possibly risk laughing at myself which does happen a lot but... yes. ha!

Finally went to catch Dreamgirls with Bi on Thursday as it was canossian saints day thus it being a half day. ( see the benefits of being in a convent school!) Any-ho, it was raining- no it was POURING and so we were stuck in school for quite a while, contemplating on whether we should just run out and flag a cab, with the risk of getting flat hair then going to town which is basically not an option but anyways. Option two was to get cheong to walk us out with her umbrella and wait for us to flag a cab which would have been possible if there wasn't that whole pack of people waiting for a cab too. Sratch that. option number three was to call a cab. It would have worked if we were'nt put on hold for ten minutes so... there was only one option left.

We run out in the rain to the bus stop .

Bloody hell.

but we found that taking the bus would be inevitable thus we did what we had to and turned up in town, wet , in our school uniform AND with the bonus flat hair. popped ourselves in the theatre right on time and then Bi provoked me by chuking popcorn down my SHIRT. It was hilarious I tell you. Dudes sitting next to us got scared i think. HA! More popcorn flew. movie began.

Then there was this scene when this girl was being really evil to her friend ( Beyonce_) and without thinking or considering that we were all in the midst of an intense, no nonsense scene where the whole cinema is plunged into silence, I said

" bitch!" really really loud and then... The scene became solemn no more. Bi drowned in laughter and basically, everyone else present found it as funny as she did.

I said I was sorry!

Oh.

Um uh... Have fun with your life.
