Haven't been doing anything terribly interesting so far. Hmm. Headed to Marina with Abi after school on Friday in hopes of finding a manicure parlor to do our nails and... We did! Rather reasonable as well... she had an express mani with fantastic polish the colour of flamingo pink and I decided on the French manicure. Took a while. Lunch was interesting, had Fish and Chips from the Brit take aways in Raffles. Only thing-- the chips were the size of THUMBS and we argued over whether they were potato or not. I WON. AHA. HA.
AND. We went on a save -the-polar bears mission by which we boycotted all forms of plastic bags to redeem my act of throwing a receipt on the floor the day before at Gelare. ha! Bought stuff at Topshop: coincidentally the accessories were all nature-related. Ha! Abee got a pair of pink flamingo earrings which were hilariously hilarious and I got a sparrow necklace which got dissed by Abi as they were designed by Kate Moss. WHA. then headed to Bakerzin where we had some form of early Dinner. Ended the day with a quick pop by Market Place to stare at various items and while walking by the cereal section, this lady with a pot of food snapped up and yelled out:
" WANT TO TRY ORGANIC SPAGHETTI AH?!"
I laughed till I died. See what blisters on your feet do to you. Stupid heels.
We then headed to get Abi's cream puff things where they shove this plain puff onto this machine which PUMPS cream INTO the puff through this HOLE in the PUFF. Ha!
And that was it.
nothing happened over the weekend except for my success at roasting a chicken.
If only I had a little humility, I would be perfect.
