kay so highlights of the day:
Saw dode off at the airport togrther with Abi, she's leaving for perth. What's really really really mean and ironic is that her aunt applied for a buisness class seat for herself... and an economy class seat for dode. First class seats for a six hour flight with no sun and no company?
I don't get it.
So we had dinner at fish and co and I realized I had no cash on me cos I was extremely late for them thus I took a cab which cost me nine flippin bucks cos I was stupid enough to take one during peak hour. Dode got kind and paid for my food. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! Oh the joy. Then we took a whole bunch of silly photos and got laughing. And when I laugh... well some people would know how it's like. Ha! But when it struck nine I realized I HAD o go cos the shuttle bus that transports me back to the condo stops at 9 15pm.
PANIC.
Got back to tampines at 925pm, knew I had missed the last bus but stood there looking like an idiot for ten minutes in hope that it would magically appear. NO THAT DID NOT HAPPEN LA. Spotted this lady standing beside me with the " I live around flora drive possibly carissa park" look and so I asked her if she was taking the bus. She said no cos she missed it and I got excited cos finally someone else missed it too. So she managed to catch this cab and asked me if O wanted to share with her.
I CAN'T BELIEVE I GOT INTO A CAB WITH A RANDOM STRANGER. But you know, desperate times calls for desperate measures and that was what happened. Turned out she WAS living around the same area as me thus we just chatted a bit in the cab. How strange was that? She is also a stewardess that would be leaving the same day as we do to Shanghai. Ha! And whaddya know! She insisted that she pay for the cab fare. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!
what a day.
